LendRight UK / About
The company

Relationships should outlast loans.

LendRight exists for one moment: when someone you love needs money, and you want to help without a handshake becoming a grudge.

What we believe

Most family loans fail as relationships before they fail as debts. Nobody wants to be the relative who demands paperwork — so nothing gets written down, terms stay foggy, and two years later the foggy terms do the damage. We built LendRight so that putting it in writing feels like an act of care, not suspicion: plain English, fair defaults, both of you signing from your own phones.

What we are — and aren’t

  • Document automation, not a law firm. LendRight produces self-help legal documents. We don’t give legal advice and no solicitor–client relationship is created.
  • Not a lender. We never touch the money. We don’t lend, hold funds, broker credit, or process repayments — and private one-off loans between individuals are not FCA-regulated credit agreements.
  • Built per jurisdiction. The UK edition is drafted for the law of England and Wales specifically — the clauses reference bank holidays, the Court of Protection, IVAs and first-class post, not imported boilerplate.
  • Verifiable by design. Every signed agreement is sealed with a SHA-256 fingerprint and a Certificate of Completion anyone can check independently.

Who’s behind it

LendRight is operated by RULE8 Inc., the team behind LendRight Canada, where thousands of family loan agreements have been drafted, signed and sealed. The UK edition brings the same engine to England and Wales, with its legal language rebuilt for this jurisdiction. Questions? doit@trylendright.com.
